About Ronen Dennis, PT, DPT Cert-CMFA, CFL1

I’m a physical therapist who believes rehab should look like the life you want to get back to — strong, capable, and built around real movement. My approach blends evidence‑based physical therapy with strength and conditioning principles so you can return to training with confidence.

I work with active adults, CrossFit athletes, barbell athletes, and anyone who wants to move better, feel better, and perform at a higher level.a

Specialized Training for Fitness Athletes

I hold the ICE Physio Certified Specialist: Fitness Athlete credential — one of the most respected certifications in the profession. This title is earned only after:

• 16 weeks of advanced coursework

• Multiple rounds of online and in‑person testing

• A full weekend of live skill demonstration

• Training focused exclusively on the rehab and performance of fitness athlete

What this means for you:

• You get a clinician who understands CrossFit, barbell training, and functional movement

• You get strength‑based rehab that actually carries over to your sport

• You get a plan that keeps you training — not sitting out

CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF‑L1)

As a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, I understand the demands of the sport from the inside. I train in CrossFit gyms, work with CrossFit athletes daily, and speak the same movement language you do.

This helps me:

• Modify training without pulling you out of the gym

• Communicate effectively with coaches

• Build return‑to‑WOD progressions that make sense

• Treat injuries in the context of actual training demands

You won’t hear “just stop lifting” here.

Burgener Strength Weightlifting Course

I’ve also completed the Burgener Strength Weightlifting course, which deepened my understanding of:

• Snatch and clean & jerk mechanics

• Bar path efficiency

• Positioning and timing

• Strength progressions for Olympic lifts

• Common mobility and stability limitations in lifters

This allows me to break down your lifts with a coach’s eye and a clinician’s brain — identifying not just what’s happening, but why.

My Philosophy

Rehab should be active, progressive, and strength‑forward. You’ll get:

• One‑on‑one sessions

• Load‑based testing

• Clear explanations

• A plan that fits your sport and your goals

• A path back to training that doesn’t rely on rest alone

My job is simple: help you move better, feel better, and perform better — without wasting your time.
