Seven ways in. One standard of care.
Every service is delivered one-on-one, by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, on a plan with an endpoint.
Physical Therapy
Hands-on, cause-first care for pain that’s overstayed its welcome. The foundation everything else here is built on.
02Barbell Analysis
A phase-by-phase video breakdown of your deadlift, clean & jerk, snatch, or power clean.
03Dry Needling
Precise, targeted work for the knot that’s been there since spring. A tool inside the plan, never the whole plan.
04Shockwave Therapy
Radial shockwave therapy for the tendon pain that’s outlasted rest and stretching. A tool inside the plan, paired with loading work.
05ASTYM
Instrument-assisted work for scar tissue and degenerative tendon pain that stretching alone hasn’t moved.
06Cupping
Suction-based soft tissue work for the muscle that’s guarding, restricted, or slow to recover from training.
07Vestibular Therapy
A cause-first evaluation for dizziness, vertigo, and balance that feels off, tested directly rather than guessed at.
You leave visit one holding the plan.
Most pain doesn’t need more mystery. It needs a cause-first evaluation: finding the reason, not renting relief from the symptom.
From there, care moves through four named phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent, each with its own job and its own criteria for moving on. You always know which phase you’re in and what earns you the next one.
And every plan has an endpoint. We’re here to finish the work, not to see you indefinitely.
Get my plan started ⟶Calm it down.
Hands-on treatment begins at the first visit. You leave understanding what’s actually going on, and you feel a difference early.
Restore what’s stuck.
Targeted mobility work for the joints and tissue actually holding you back, dosed to your body, not a printed sheet.
Build strength you trust.
Progressive load against standards you have to clear before moving on. Confidence, here, is a training effect.
Make it stay fixed.
Testing before you’re cleared, then a keep-it-gone program sized to your real week. Then we graduate you.
Corrections to the record.
Physical therapy has a reputation problem. It was earned, just not here. The record, corrected:
-
“PT is a photocopied handout and a heat pack.”
CorrectedEvery visit is hands-on and one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. If a sheet of paper could fix it, we’d mail you the paper and wish you well.
-
“You’re one of three patients they’re juggling that hour.”
CorrectedOne patient. One doctor. One hour, on the clock for you and nobody else. Your appointment is yours; nobody shares it.
-
“Once you start, you’re in for as long as they can bill it.”
CorrectedYour plan has four named phases and an endpoint we name out loud at the evaluation, before you agree to anything. Graduation is the goal, not retention.
-
“You need a referral before anyone will even look at it.”
CorrectedYou don’t. UT allows direct access: book the evaluation and we handle the paperwork behind you. No gatekeeper, no note from your doctor.
-
“They’ll just tell a lifter to stop lifting.”
CorrectedNot here. Dr. Dennis is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer who’s completed the Burgener Strength Weightlifting course, so the plan works around your training, not against it. You’ll hear which lifts to scale and for how long, never a blanket “stop.”
Your first visit, annotated.
One hour, one room, one doctor. Here’s the anatomy of it.
You talk. We actually listen.
The whole story, not the three lines that fit on an intake form: when it started, what it’s costing you, what you’ve already tried.
We test, not guess.
Movement, strength, and the joints above and below the one that hurts. Where it hurts isn’t always why it hurts.
Treatment starts today.
Hands-on work in the first hour, not the third week. You should leave feeling that something changed.
You leave with answers.
What it is, how long it should take, what phase one looks like, and what visit two will do. In plain language.
Wear something you can move in. Everything else is our job.
The person holding the plan.
A Doctor of Physical Therapy who chose the one-patient-at-a-time model on purpose.

The straight answer on cost.
Nobody should need a decoder ring to find out what care costs. Pick your situation; we’ll say it plainly.
We’re in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and TriCare, and we verify your exact benefits before your first visit: copay, deductible status, visit limits, all of it.
You’ll get the numbers in plain English before you owe anyone anything. No surprise statements six weeks later.
Verification is free and takes about a business day. Use the form to start it now.
Haven’t met your deductible yet? You’ll likely pay the insurer-negotiated rate per visit until you do, and we’ll tell you that exact number up front.
Because your plan has an endpoint, you’ll also know roughly how many visits we’re talking about, so you can do real math, not hopeful math.
Every dollar counts toward the deductible you’d be paying down anyway.
No insurance doesn’t mean no care. We have a self-pay rate, stated before you book, with no processing games.
One-on-one care also tends to mean fewer total visits than the volume clinics, so most self-pay patients spend less than they feared.
Ask about the self-pay rate when we call to schedule. It’s a number, not a negotiation.
We’re on it.
Expect a call within one business day with your copay, deductible status, and what your plan covers, in plain English.
Questions, answered plainly.
The things people ask on the phone, written down.
Most PT that fails, fails the same way: a rushed evaluation, a generic exercise sheet, and a therapist splitting the hour three ways. Here you get a full hour, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and a cause-first evaluation that treats the reason for your pain instead of chasing the symptom. Different inputs tend to produce a different outcome.
No. UT allows direct access to physical therapy, which means you can book an evaluation without seeing anyone else first. If your insurance plan requires a referral for reimbursement, we’ll flag that during your free benefits check and help you get one.
It depends on your insurance, so we check it for you before your first visit, free. You’ll know your copay, where your deductible stands, and any visit limits before you owe anyone anything. If you’re self-pay, we’ll quote you the flat rate up front. No surprise statements, ever.
Most patients notice a meaningful difference within the first two to three visits, because hands-on treatment starts at the evaluation itself. The full plan, through the Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent phases, typically runs several weeks to a few months depending on the problem. You’ll get a specific estimate at your evaluation, and we track progress against it out loud.
Sometimes the pain fades. The cause usually stays. That’s why it comes back every time you garden, travel, or sleep wrong, and why each round tends to last a little longer than the last. An evaluation tells you what you’re actually dealing with, so waiting becomes a decision you’re making on purpose instead of a gamble.
Clothes you can move in, your insurance card if you have one, and any imaging or reports you already have, though you don’t need imaging to start. Arrive five minutes early and we’ll handle the rest. The evaluation, including hands-on treatment, takes about an hour.
Put it in writing.
Five short questions. A real person calls you back, usually within two business hours, with times that fit your week.
The people who end up filling this out are rarely in the worst pain of their life. They’re just done working around it, done picking the errand that doesn’t require the stairs. If that’s the stage you’re at, this is the part where you stop researching and start.
Consider it filed.
A real person will call you back, usually within two business hours, with appointment times that fit your week. Keep your phone nearby.
